Prof. Dr. Oxford York has over 26 years of experience working in critical care settings and other healthcare related fields. Dr. York is a life-long learner, attentive and a reflective person who has been well informed and educated from life experiences. He has developed a profound comprehension and appreciation for the value of life to be lived within any state. Dr. York is someone who is disciplined, lives by his principles and prioritizes in maintaining a healthy self-care routine. One of Dr. York's core beliefs involve learning opportunities for growth and development by making new meaning of experiences that appear to be difficult or negative.
Dr. York has lived through many experiences and has witnessed the power of post-traumatic growth to create mental toughness/strength and better preparation for life. He has a particular philosophy of life that has been taught to him and personally developed through his 40+ years of studying various Chinese and Japanese martial arts.
